Dubrovnik is besieged by evil Patarenes & Manicheans

1431. Dubrovnik wrote to the Queen Joanna II of Naples: 

"Our town is besieged by evil Patarenes, the greatest enemies of those who follow the Catholic faith."

October 5th 1433., Dubrovnik wrote to Cardinal Ivan Stojkovic, 

"in Bosnia live Patarenes who the Bosnians call monks of their kingdom."

1451.g. Dubrovnik wrote to Pope Nicholas V, 

"Dubrovnik is surrounded by unbelievers Patarener and Manicheans."
